Today is Saturday- and it's a glorious one at that. I am spending the afternoon cooking with my mom and enjoying the magic of cupcakes in fresh spring flavors. In the oven at this very moment we are baking Cadbury Egg cakes. They're brills on my mom's part. White cake with a cadbury in the middle, and a cream cheese frosting. It's so simple but I have a feeling it's gonna be so good, too!
It's been a crazy week. I was accepted into a program at work that trains me for a job promotion that I really really want to do. I've had some minor heartbreak but I've since put on my big girl pants and got over it, and now I am eagerly awaiting a night with some friends where we can joke around, make fun of each other, and debate the sexuality of people we don't like. Ah, to be young.
